On World Water Day 2024, under the theme "Water for Peace", the United Nations highlights the central role of water in promoting global peace, stability and prosperity. At Atlas Copco, our products, solutions, daily operations and social responsibility programs are inextricably linked to water. In our scientific carbon reduction goals, the protection of water resources is also a major focus.

This year, Suzhou Since Gas Technology Co., LTD., under the leadership of Atlas Copco Group, held the children painting friendly competition and employee recitation contest. The employees actively participated in these meaningful activities.

In this campaign, Suzhou Since Gas received a total of 6 children's paintings, all from Since Gas employees' children.These works are colorful, showing the children's imagination and aspirations for the theme of "water for peace".

This year, a total of 33 entities in Atlas Copco Greater China participated in this campaign, and a total of 26 individual/group recitation works were received, and one of Since Gas employees won the first prize in the female individual recitation contest after layers of selection! “World Water Day is celebrated every year on March 22, and making March 22 World Water Day is also a reminder of our ordinary lives. Because water is so common in our lives, we often ignore it, but this is not the case. The shortage of water resources has always been a huge problem faced by economic and social development and ecological environment protection. And there is such a day, we tell ourselves together, but also tell the friends around us, we must save water together, take care of water resources, improve water efficiency, start from the side. We need water in the future, protecting water starts from me. Protecting water keeps life flowing.”
