Hydrogen production by using methanol reforming. Using a feed of methanol and water, our high efficiency package converts methanol via a catalyst into hydrogen. Using pressure swing adsorption (PSA) we reach a high outlet hydrogen purity >99.995%. Availability of solar power and other renewable electricity sources leads to a low CO2 footprint for green methanol production. Methanol reformer to hydrogen results in a very low price of hydrogen derived from green methanol, and lower cost hydrogen source for hydrogen re-fueling stations. It also can be used as a backup system for a hydrogen generating unit.
The ammonia cracker to hydrogen equipment uses liquid ammonia (with a purity of ≥99.8%) as raw material. It vaporizes liquid ammonia into ammonia gas and enters the decomposition furnace. Under high-temperature conditions, it is cracked into a hydrogen-nitrogen mixed gas of 75% hydrogen and 25% nitrogen under the action of a catalyst. Hydrogen-nitrogen mixed gas can purify hydrogen to 99.9995% through the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process.
